sasCommunity Tip of the Day
The SQL INSERT statement does not permit use of an ORDERED BY clause to control the order in which the new rows are stored. To work around this limitation, define a named view and include the ORDERED BY clause in its definition, then invoke the view in the INSERT statement.

Introducing what's new on sasCommunity.org:
SAS T-Shirt Contest voting now open! You submitted your designs—now vote on your favorite.
The design receiving the most votes via sasCommunity.org during the voting period will be declared the winner. The winning design will be produced on a limited number of t-shirts to be distributed at the 2010 SAS Global Forum event. Voting closes February 5th.
Give us your ideas! SAS Global Forum planners are looking for ideas for what you'd like to see, hear and do at future SAS Global Forum Events. The committee plans five years in advance so start now by listing and discussing your ideas.
Let Michael know he's not alone

In the meantime, Michael invites you to share your own comments or amusing anecdotes on what you find challenging about being a SAS programmer.
