Since a Wiki is self-configurable (I mean that we the users can do what we want to it, without waiting for a webmaster to do it for us), that should mean that if we the users wish, we could impose a hierarcical structure on it in order to make it easier to navigate it, but of course, users would not have to use the hierarchary, but of course, gardners could move things around. --Hamer 15:51, 17 March 2008 (EDT)
I agree with Nancy in putting the 'category' item on the main menu. To find categories now, I looked at 'tool box-> special pages'. I'm not sure how one would update the main menu, so it may be something that admin folks can do. --CJ 15:44, 3 June 2008 (EDT)

Towards a tidy talk page
I think this talk page needs to be tidier. The page should be a discussion about the content of the Main Page, rather than a public forum.
- Questions from users seeking help should be moved to the respective user's talk page if a response is provided, rather than being left here.
- Users listing employment opportunities should be directed to list there instead.
- Ideas, suggestions and general comments about the sasCommunity should be moved to a more relevant wiki page.
- Old comments and discussion should be moved to an archive area once they are no longer relevant.
- The remaining discussion(s) should be refactored.

About Weekend Wiki Work/TIPs
I'm noticing that a daily tip was not available for today. . . . What about having a weekend wiki study assignment (HomeWork as it were.) For example here is one:
Use the 'edit' on any Article-Page to see how the wiki language-controls are written. Look for examples of good page publishing and use 'edit' to see how it is done.
Some weekend wiki work (homework) could involve longer study assignments (for Fri-PM, Sat, and Sun.), from those that are doing so well assigned to eager students such as myself. Humbly, Charlie Shipp
