Concept or worked example

I wonder if Using and Contributing to is the best title for this page. I like the concept of the worked example, but the title leads me to expect something completely different. Should we be explaining concepts in this article rather than showing How to use and contribute to Renaming this page should not be too difficult as only the where also article has a wikilink to this page, as far as I can tell. - Cameron (talk) 20:10, 17 March 2015 (CDT)

What would you suggest, Cameron? I read this article as using the 'WHERE' and 'WHERE ALSO' as and example, and I agree the example might be better identified as an example and the instruction for using more clearly documented at the top. Feel free to take a crack at adjusting!! --Nancy (talk) 07:13, 18 March 2015 (CDT)
I think there are two issues here that Cameron raised. First is a title that is more specific to what is being described. This article is more about leveraging to summarize discussions that it is about how to use and contribute. I think the original intent was to have more examples. But, in hindsight, that make the article too long. The second issue is making it clearer that this is just an example. Maybe we need a page that simply lists different ways to contribute (e.g., by summarizing discussions) with wikilinks to examples. --Don Henderson (talk) 07:29, 18 March 2015 (CDT)
When I start reading the Main Page one concept that comes through clearly is Contribute. It appears as a heading in the navigation bar and I consider it to be a sasCommunity goal. So any article that talks about contributing should cover the various ways of Getting Involved that are promised by Joining the sasCommunity. New users will want to know Where to Start before they go on to Create an Article. I see this page, and others like it, as fitting in between those two articles. Also, these sorts of pages need to be fairly prominent on the wiki, being linked from at least one of the pages that appear on the Main Page or the navigation bar, if they are to Help users. I sort of stumbled into this page when I saw an external link to it on Nancy's talk page. Because this page has only one wikilink from one other article, and the content differs radically from the title, it is very difficult to find this page in organic search results for the wiki. I feel the page needs much more radical surgery than merely being "adjusted" - a page-ectomy might describe what I had in mind i.e. a total rewrite from the first character. However, I don't want to lose what has been written already, as i see a lot of value in it. Before I have a crack at editing the page, I would rather like to understand the motivations and intentions for creating the page in the first place. I think the reason why this page should exist is perhaps more important than what it contains. - Cameron (talk) 20:09, 18 March 2015 (CDT)
