sasCommunity Tip of the Day

Tom Abernathy, Matt Kastin, and Arthur Tabachneck wrote a macro that lets one:

  1. include or exclude a variable name or variable label row;
  2. export formatted or unformatted data;
  3. use Excel templates;
  4. add to an existing worksheet;
  5. copy to a non-predefined range; and
  6. not run into 32-bit/64-bit incompatibilities. And it doesn't even require SAS/Access for PC File Formats.

Additionally, the macro uses the same parameters as proc export, and its supporting paper even shows how it can be run as a SAS abbreviation.
