I write one macro which works fine to split data into 2-subgroups.
Logic is 1) sort by target var 2) based on weight/wt, split into 2 subgroups.
BUT how to split into N-Subgroups with N as a parameter, say N=3 or 7?!
%macro bisect(ds, byvar, cutvar, note);
proc sort data=&ds.; by &byvar.; run;quit;
data &ds.;
set &ds.;
retain wt_sum;
wt_sum=coalesce(wt_sum,0)+&cutvar.;
run;quit;
data &ds.(drop=wt_sum);
set &ds.;
if wt_sum<=50 then ¬e.=1;
else ¬e.=0;
run;quit;
%mend;

Hi, I have the following ODBC connection: LIBNAME IFRS17_H ODBC DATAsrc=IFRS17_HIVE SCHEMA=ifrs17catalog USER="rubence" PASSWORD="XXXXXXXXXXX"; When I try to use a WHERE clause, data KFS;
set IFRS17_H.key_figures;
where key_figures.pyear='2024';
run; SAS shows the following message: but if I do not use a WHERE clause, I have no problems and the var names in the new table follows the structure: TABLE_NAME.VAR_NAME. My questions are: a) How can I avoid to download the full table? b) Is It possible to use only the VAR_NAME and not TABLE_NAME.VAR_NAME? Many thanks for your great help.

Hello
I created a new library name called PanelOsh
I used this code and I see that the folder was created successfully
options dlcreatedir;
libname PanelOsh "/usr/local/SAS/SASUsers/LabRet/Credit_Scoring_Users/";
I want to create also sub-Folder within library PanelOsh that will be called Raw_Data.
What is the way to do it?
I run following code but the folder was not created
options dlcreatedir;
libname Raw_Data "/usr/local/SAS/SASUsers/LabRet/Credit_Scoring_Users/PanelOsh";

Hello, I wanted to ask about any experience with SAS Viya in terms of ease of learning and functionality. I have around a bit above 3 years experience working with AWS and I wanted to know, is my knowledge is actually transferable to work with SAS cloud. I am applying to a job and discovered that they run a multi cloud platform, partially with AWS and partially with SAS and that’s why I am asking. Cheers
