Statistical Programmer (12-month contract)
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide SAS programming support to Clinical Research and Development. • Produce tables, listings and graphs both by direct programming and by using in-house developed MACROs. • Create derived datasets. • Assist in the validation of programs written by other programmers. • Assist in the development of MACROs. • Prepare SAS datasets and outputs for electronic submission.
Qualifications:
Skills/Knowledge Required:
• BS/BA or equivalent experience in life sciences, statistics, math, computer science or related field preferred. • Basic knowledge of statistics and clinical trial design. • Excellent working knowledge of the SAS language including Base SAS, SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH, ODS, and SAS MACRO language. • Basic knowledge of the fundamentals of Oracle Clinical, in particular, data extraction would be an asset. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills. • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional team environment under strict timelines. • Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel)
