Clinical Data Associate

Global IQ is a full service Clinical Research Organization based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We presently have a full-time permanent position open for a Clinical Data Associate.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will participate in the following activities in accordance with company standard operation procedures (SOPs) and the principles of good clinical practice (GCP): Clinical data processing, including database configuration, data tracking, document processing, data entry and data validation. Base SAS programming and SAS program validation.

Qualifications

The preferred candidate is likely have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (life sciences or statistics) and/or appropriate experience in a healthcare or research related field. They must also have a basic understanding of SAS and data step programming. They will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be capable of working under pressure to meet project deadlines. Recent graduates will be considered for the position provided they can demonstrate familiarity with SAS.
