COMPANY: Cmed Inc.

POSITION: Statistical Programmers and Biostatisticians

DURATION: FT/Regular

LOCATION: Durham, NC

DESCRIPTION: Cmed is an innovative and forward-thinking eCRO providing a complete statistical service to pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Our services include statistical input to study design, protocol development, consultancy, planning, specifying and performing statistical analyses, conducting their write-up, and collaboration in the production of integrated study reports.

We are expanding our Global Biostatistics Team and we are currently seeking ambitious Senior Biostatisticians and Senior Statistical Programmers to join our growing Biostatistics group based in our Durham office.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Senior Biostatistician candidates should have a BS/BA and/or a MS in Statistics and at least 3 years relevant experience in the area of design and analysis of clinical trials. Senior Statistical Programmers should have a BS/BA or MS in Statistics, mathematics or a related field, plus at least 3 years experience in use of SAS in the analysis and reporting of clinical trials. Previous CRO experience is strongly preferred. Both positions require a pro-active approach to work, a proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams in a deadline oriented setting, and most importantly, the ability to communicate effectively in a global environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful candidates will be involved in all aspects of our statistical services, and work on projects which could range in size from small early phase I trials to larger phase II-IV trials across a comprehensive range of therapeutic areas. You will provide input to statistical analysis plans, program and conduct statistical analyses to provide statistical output, and critically review results and conclusions to ensure their valid and correct interpretation. The Biostatistics role will also cover the development of key documents including Protocols, Statistical Analysis Plans, Quality Plans, and, working closely with our Statistical Programmers, review the derived data sets and the data tables, listings and figures that they produce.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: In addition, we have a special and growing interest in Adaptive Clinical Trials and in Bayesian methodology and we are seeking to expand our team in this area. So, if you can offer relevant skills or experience in these fields, we would be particularly interested to hear from you.

We offer a competitive benefits package, a pleasant working environment that stresses individual and team achievements, a commitment to work life balance, excellent training, international placements, and outstanding career opportunities.
