Maintaining a code of ethics is an essential part of doing business as a consultant. Webster's New World Dictionary defines ethics as the study of standards of conduct and moral judgment. All too often we read and hear about ethical charges being brought against one individual or another. Work out details in contracts, and only sign those you will absolutely honor. Then use wisdom and common sense in the way you conduct your business.
