As the first step in the decommissioning of sasCommunity.org the site has been converted to read-only mode.

Here are some tips for How to share your SAS knowledge with your professional network.

Create SAS Books Article

From sasCommunity
Jump to: navigation, search

To create an article for a SAS Press Book, enter the title of your book and click the Add button. Once complete, your posting will show up on the list of SAS books page.

You will be presented with a template that you can customize:

  • XXXXX is where you should insert your title's pubcode/order number.
  • Feel free to add new sections or text as needed. Likewise, delete sections that don't apply.
  • Don't remove the category tag for SAS Books. However, feel free to add category tags that make sense for your book like the following that are available from the Sasopedia.
    • Category:Products - Your title will appear on the products pages that you add a category tag for. This page also lists the different product categories that currently exist. If the category page for a SAS product is not listed - feel free to create it yourself.
    • Category:Procedures - Your title will appear on the procedures pages that you add a category for. This page also lists the different procedure categories currently exist. If the category page for a SAS Procedure is not listed - feel free to create it yourself.
    • Category:Topics - Your title will appear on the topics page that you add a category tag for. This page also lists the different topic categories that currently exist.
