- Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SPDS, etc)
- Thorough knowledge/expertise of SQL
- Base SAS programming knowledge
- Data step programming
- SAS Macro language
- Experience with SAS Data Integration tools (DI Studio)
- Proficient in developing ETL processes and job flows
- Familiarity with industry standard approaches for ETL/Data Warehousing
- Data Modeling and Design
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot database query/performance
- Understanding data design, best practices
- Green Card or U.S. Citizenship required
[edit] Goals/Objections of Position
- Responsible for implementing pre-defined requirements using industry standard best practices and techniques.
- Must be able to interpret business requirements and translate to technical design and eventually implementation.
- Responsible for constructing data transformation processes to load Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
[edit] Candidates with experience in the following will be preferred:
- Experience dealing with Data Quality issues/tools (DataFlux)
- Prior experience with Erwin, ER studio or equivalent modeling tool
