END statement

The END statement is the last statement in group of statements that was started with a DO statement or a SELECT statement in a DATA Step.

Syntax

END ;

Usage

The END statement indicates the end of a group of statements that follow a DO statement or SELECT statement. The END statement is a declarative statement and does not directlt cause any data to be processed.

END keyword

The END keyword, which is also used in other situations, such as a CASE expression in the SQL Procedure, should not be confused with the END statement.
