POSITION: Health Outcomes Statistician/SAS Programmer

DURATION: 6 months

LOCATION: Bridgewater, NJ

DESCRIPTION:

Duties

· This position is to conduct the necessary database work to support the EBM Metabolism Team. · The work will involve evaluation of diabetes drug use and its concurrent therapy with other antidiabetic agents in the current market place with IHCIS and LabRx databases.

Skills:

· Statistical background, experiences with health care claims data · Can independently conduct database analysis with regression models, mixed effects models, longitudinal analysis or Cox proportional hazards models · Can learn how to apply propensity score methods with some teaching/training · Large database experience is essential; statistical knowledge and skills are required to conduct independent analytic work with limited supervision. · Atleast 5 years of experience in SAS programming with HO or Epi experience of at least two years · Understanding of econometric and psychometric methods with results in publications or abstracts revision

Education: Masters level degree in statistics
