Highmark SAS User Group

The mission of the Highmark SAS User® Group is to further promote analytic excellence and foster collaboration between users in the Highmark workplace. The user group is open to any Highmark employee who uses SAS software. At the present time we have over 250 users who learn about the meetings via a monthly e-mail. The first meeting of the In-House Highmark SAS® User Group was held on Tuesday May 2, 2006. Both campuses joined in for a video conference kickoff meeting - one in Pittsburgh, and one in Camp Hill. Speakers have included MaryAnn Hiscock from SAS Institute, who joined us via a video conference with Cary, and a number of Highmark employees, who have volunteered their time to share coding tips with the group. Meetings are held monthly and are usually in the Blue Room in Pittsburgh, on the 2nd floor of Penn Avenue Place, and in Corporate Center 200 or 300 in Camp Hill.
