This position will assist the Department of Human Services to advance care delivery and payment reform policy goals by developing and executing informatics, analytic and evaluation projects that support providers and DHS clients engaged in care coordination and payment reform initiatives. Work responsibilities include developing and providing support and technical assistance to providers participating in payment reform and care delivery reforms like Behavioral Health Home services (BHH). The incumbents responsibilities also involve leading a collaborative work process among health care provider organizations, DHS Administrations and business units, various state agencies, various counties involved with care coordination activities, vendors, and the department’s IT systems to see that timelines are met, federal and state guidelines are achieved, and quality care is provided to clients.

Responsibilities Include: • Conduct special studies and develop and manage evaluations for the Community and Care Integration Reform Team to evaluate integrated service delivery models and patient experience of care. These analyses focus on BHH services and service delivery performance measures, provider incentives, utilization and base line measures for populations served through Minnesota Health Care Programs. • Design, develop and implement care coordination and delivery reform supports and tools for the Health Care Administration (HCA) and provider participants. • Lead a collaborative input and working process with internal and external stakeholders involved in the delivery of integrated services models and plan for needs and develop analytic tool related to accountable care, care integration and coordination activities.



  • Skill 1 Three (3) years of advanced professional experience in health care policy
  • Skill 2 bachelor’s degree in health care administration, statistics, human services, or related field
  • Skill 3 • Knowledge of data collection, data manipulation, data transformation and interpretation, and statistical analysis.
