Looking for a Hebrew speaking SAS statistician

I am working on a very interesting project where my statistics drive the transactions of the business. We have reached a stage where there is more R&D work than I can handle on my own. We are looking for someone who can bring a fresh view point, suggest new approaches and do hands on analysis (loads of it). The person will have to carry the analysis from raw data to proving the models provide ROI. So we are seeking someone who can manipulate the data, apply statistical thinking, and then businesswize thinking. The work involves a lot on computer time but there will be interaction with myself and one of the founders of the company. We have no physical office so the work will be carried out from home via connecting to one of our ‘sas’ pcs. We prefer someone who can start on a part time basis working from home (it could be along side a day job – i.e. evenings) with the intention to go full time if all works out well.

Why Hebrew you ask: that is the preferred language of the founders.

Qualifications: numerate preferable some basic statistical skills and command of sas.

Most of the work is carried out using Base, Stat and Graph. But we have also licensed the Miner and are contemplating the Text Miner (the text data is in English). The collection of the raw data and application of the scoring is done by the production team. Thus major boring tasks are diverted away from the fun of analysis. I am enjoying myself immensely as there are not many project like this around (working from home, real statistics, not ‘another churn or credit scoring analysis’) but I am not able to do it alone anymore.

Please contact me at eli.kling@businessken.co.uk (yes, I live in the UK, the founders are in Israel and the US)
