COMPANY: PCN Strategies POSITION: Secretly Cleared SAS EDI/EBI Consultant DURATION: Indefinite/Employee LOCATION: Norfolk, VA DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Sr-level SAS Consultant that is experienced in migrations and conversions. Specifically, we are looking for a secretly cleared SAS Consultant with administration experience and with experience in supporting SAS Enterprise BI Server and Enterprise Data Server software. The Consultant will perform general support for the End Customer's SAS Installations.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years experience with EDI/EBI security model; ability to support user testing to ensure End Customer's EDI/EBI security meets End Customer's requirements; ability to support implementation of End Customer's EDI/EBI security model in a Production environment
  • Previous experience developing a process for near real time refreshes of databases
  • Ability to verify that SAS applications are working properly after migration from one network to another
  • Ability to assess, implement and verify the migration of SAS applications from SAS version 9.1.3 to SAS version 9.2
  • Ability to plan design and implement ETL processes to migrate to a new data source (OCRS) into End Customer's SAS warehouse


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provision of ongoing general support and maintenance of SAS Software
  • Assistance with installing upgrades and updates of SAS Software
  • Assistance with SAS software and solution conversions and migrations
  • Provision of knowledge transfer with respect to SAS software
  • Creation of customized modules for current SAS solutions to better utilize SAS solution capabilities and leverage core functionality
  • Automation of program, system or application processes
  • Addressing technical support issues that require extensive analysis or on-site assistance
  • Modifying SAS software configuration settings due to IT infrastructure changes
  • Rollout of SAS software to additional groups or users
  • Identification of opportunities for better utilization of current SAS software
  • Assistance in planning for future SAS software subprojects and deployments
  • Installation and configuration of SAS software on specified server systems
  • Testing of SAS software within the context of End Customer's system performance, operations and functionality requirements
  • Ongoing operations support for the SAS software in pilot and production environments
  • Notification escalation and resolution of issues (e.g., bugs, configuration, error, undocumented features, etc.) related to SAS software relative to the functional requirements of the End Customer's system
  • Documentation of key configuration parameters, as required by the End Customer
  • Creation of weekly status reports
  • Participation in meetings with End Customer as required
  • Support for End Customer's SAS Enterprise BI Server (EBI)software, Enterprise Data Integration Server software (EDI) and related software installations
