We have an Immediate Job opening for you as Senior SAS Resource Administrator with our direct client.
Location: Boise, ID
Duration: 6 Months +
Primary Skills:
- SAS Version 9.1
- 3-5 years
Description: Need folks with experience on supporting / administering version 9.1 Currently the client has PC/SAS (SAS installed on multiple PCs across the company) this is being consolidated into "SAS Enterprise Guide" (SAS installed centrally on a server) The client owns almost all SAS product stack and will prefer candidates with exposure to multiple products UNIX experience (exposure) is required (for simple tasks like-ability to change permissions on files, move /copy files, write simple ksh scripts)
Skills:
- SAS management console - understanding of setting up servers in management console, setting up user security, data connections, metadata
- Enterprise Guide - on user's desktops and centralized server
- Understand Unix commands for chmod, chusr, user folders, directory structure, grep, getting list of registered users, sending message to all UNIX users
- Pref. skill - SAS installation on Unix, understanding of directory structure, ability to install SAS (BI, enterprise guide, JMP, connect)
- Preferred skill - ability to understand Metadata repository and write reports against the metadata repository
