This would be extremely useful when preparing newsletters, user group web site postings, registration booklets, presentation intros, etc. The organizer could simply ask the presenter to confirm or correct his/her bio, rather than someone having to write one from scratch, locate a previous misplaced version, etc.

One way of implementing this is to encourage all such speakers to add a short bio on their personal page. If conference organizers want to do this, then can actually go to the personal page (e.g. User:Statprof) of any sasCommunity.org user and edit it to include a bio. --Statprof 08:24, 1 March 2007 (EST)
