Group Manager of Modeling Smith Hanley, a leader in the specialized recruiting services organization for over 30 years, currently has an opportunity available for a Group Manager of Modeling. Come joint this large Insurance Company in the Chicago area. You will be responsible for the formulation, implementation, and elucidation of analytic solutions to a broad range of business questions and business problems, primarily in the sales and marketing domain. These may range from marketing response analysis, to segmentation, predictive targeting, and new channel or product development. Additional responsibilities include:

· Responsible for Interacts with business managers to help articulate the analytic approach to a business objective or problem.

· Conducts or oversees the analysis, is responsible for QA of analytic output, crafts and delivers findings to internal clients.

· Manages or coaches modelers.

· Participates in the development and ongoing refinement of modeling standards and methodologies.

Requirements

· 8 years work experience in a business environment, preferably in financial services or consulting, with 3 years in an equivalent position.

· Must have pre-existing, in-depth skill in the use of several quantitative analysis toolsets and be able to quickly adapt to new techniques and packages as they become available.
