We are a small, Nashville Tennessee based company, which is developing and delivering business intelligence tools for the financial services industry. New products are always under development and we require an experienced SAS developer. As part of our team, your expertise and opinion matter, and the success of the products and company are shared by all.
Though we are small, we offer a competitive compensation package, ongoing training and development and 4 weeks of personal vacation time per year and public holidays!
Candidates will ideally have the following level of experience: Essential • SAS 8.2, SAS 9.1. Specifically Base, ODS, AF, AppDev Studio, Web Reports Studio, Information Delivery Portal, OLAP Cube Studio, Enterprise Guide, Stat, Graph, IntrNet, Data Integration Studio. • PC Literate to an advanced standard, particularly in spreadsheet analysis, database theory/development (SQL, OLAP, Microsoft Access, ODBC Connectivity), and MS Office. • General aptitude to acquire specialist skills in other applications when required, i.e. Visual Studio, Cognos and Business Objects. • Excellent understanding of relevant tools and methodologies (SDLC, RAD). • Able to identify and assess logical processes of sometimes complex systems. • High levels of accurate numeracy and literacy. • Presentation skills, both orally and written using Microsoft packages, i.e. MS Power Point, MS Project, Visio. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize when managing several projects within the same time span.
Preferred • Awareness of the Financial Services industry and relevant challenges, policies, plans and objectives. • Ability to interpret analytical output and provide direction for areas to act on. • Detailed understanding of Business Intelligence delivery tools. • In depth understanding of the issues surrounding the development and delivery of Business Intelligence. • Detailed understanding of the database theory and development. • SAS certification
