Developing, expanding and supporting your SASĀ® skills ensures that you will be a top SAS professional. The papers in this section present blueprints for building a foundation as a SAS professional as well as how to work efficiently and effectively. Papers focus on developing or attaining skills, present guidelines, best practices, and techniques and describe real-world approaches and solutions. Appropriate topics for this section are:

  • Effective training methods and programs.
  • How to work effectively with co-workers and/or external clients.
  • Developing and deploying in-house best practices and standards.
  • Methods of support available, e.g. technical support, discussion forums, user groups.
  • How to best use SAS Technical Support resources.
  • How to get the most out of SAS Global Forum and regional, local and in-house users groups.
  • Certification issues and preparation.
