SAS Global Forum 2010 -- Share Your Ideas/Posters

The Posters section encourages presenters to submit ideas that are suitable for visual display for a unique mix of subjects and audience interactions. Presenters in this section, selected from poster presentations and written papers, are faced with the challenge of arranging their ideas in a display that will inform and capture the attention of an audience. A brief, oral presentation takes place during a “meet the presenters” session, but the visual presentation carries the bulk of the message. Viewers have the opportunity to examine the material at their own pace and revisit it a number of times during the conference. Presenters offer fairly complex visual concepts for study, and viewers can discuss these concepts without disturbing the flow of a presentation.

The Posters section also includes a limited number of video displays for: replaying the navigation of applications; building complex visual messages; highlighting multiple elements of a structure; or demonstrating the evolution of an application or process.

This year’s Posters section will also feature a tribute to Posters topics from the conference’s past 35 years. Please submit both concepts that have held up over the years as well as ideas that show just how far SAS has come. These can be new creations or past submissions worthy of an encore performance!
