SAS Analyst required for a long term contract opportunity, liaising closely with the business and being an effective communicator is key to this role. In return you will be rewarded with a team that respects and values your expertise in this field.
This is a SAS Analyst position covering the following: Actively take charge in performing these tasks Ensure that the End of Month (EOM) Process is performed seamlessly. This involves generating a series of monthly reports through SAS queries. Generating quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports. Monthly Scheme Driver Packs Ad hoc assigned tasks and project as required by the business. Ad-Hoc queries, analysis and data requests Attend to queries from GM, Level 3 Managers and other business areas Attend to queries from Strategy and Business Planning, Finance & Reporting, etc Provided analysis information – financial & non financial Supporting writing of management reports Actively play a role in Planning, Reporting & Shared Services success by: Actively contributing to the success of the Business Strategy and Business Plan Supporting the business culture Supporting peers and other staff in their personal development by sharing knowledge, providing feedback and providing coaching where appropriate
To Excel in this you will require the following; Excellent presentation skills (written, verbal, analytic) SAS v9, base SAS, SAS macro and ideally SAS BI (not essential) Strong proficiency in key tools (Advanced Excel, Word, Power point, SAS and MS SQL) Solid business understanding of financial and business related data Mature business sense Ability to work with people from all levels within the organisation
