POSITION: Senior Biostatistician

DURATION: 6 months

DESCRIPTION:

Graduate School Statistics or closely-related discipline required

. Responsibilities: The incumbent will collaborate with statistical team leader or team programmers to produce quality analyses and reports for preclinical animal studies of safety or efficacy. He/she will also perform some SAS programming for statistical analyses. Solid knowledge of statistical methodology, experimental design, and strong interest in computer applications for data management are required. We are looking for a Statistician with at least a Master's degree. Must have good SAS skills. Prefer a candidate with strong experience with pre-clinical animal safety studies.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Qualifications: Candidate must have a graduate degree in statistics or closely related field (Masters or PhD), and must be proficient in SAS. Some exposure to basic sciences and/or medical subjects is desirable, preferably analysis of animal safety studies; and effective oral and written communication skill. The incumbent must be able to work effectively in both an independent and team environment; must be able to multitask; and must possess effective time management skills
