Kirk Paul Lafler is helping (as he has in the past) with PR for annual SAS regional conferences. We invite your collaborative participation here on this website page. The way I look at it is that there are three phases (1) year-round PR for visibility and encouraging registering; (2) immediately leading into the conference: any changes and very interesting news; and (3) at the conference with Twitter, Facebook, and other social media.   • Visits on LinkedIn, and Twitter also (for re-tweets.)
  • After Labor Day he will send more to the hundreds he links with on LinkedIn and other sites.
  • Charlie Shipp has created the JMP/DOE hashtag on Twitter.

MWSUG: A great regional conference just concluded in the Midwest states. See the website. They used an App for iPhone and other smart phones to show room locations and speakers, plus other schedule information. PR was via Facebook and LinkedIn. Twitter was a minor player.
