As the first step in the decommissioning of sasCommunity.org the site has been converted to read-only mode.
Here are some tips for How to share your SAS knowledge with your professional network.
Social Media for Regionals
Kirk Paul Lafler is helping (as he has in the past) with PR for annual SAS regional conferences. We invite your collaborative participation here on this sasCommunity.org website page. The way I look at it is that there are three phases (1) year-round PR for visibility and encouraging registering; (2) immediately leading into the conference: any changes and very interesting news; and (3) at the conference with Twitter, Facebook, and other social media. After the conference, you can start over. Share your insights with bullet-items and summaries for others. -- Charlie Shipp 16:13, 17 July 2013 (EDT)

Kirk can let us know when we start talking about Instagram, http://instagram.com/

MWSUG: A great regional conference just concluded in the Midwest states. See the MWSUG.org website. They used an App for iPhone and other smart phones to show room locations and speakers, plus other schedule information. PR was via Facebook and LinkedIn. Twitter was a minor player.
