I think there should be at least one forum for statistical questions and discussions.

That is a good idea. The question is whether there should be a new category for statistics and then subtopics for different topics within statistics or just an omnibus statistics forum.

Here's a vote for an omnibus forum. Too many nuggets in places I don't ordinarily look.

I think there should be at least three forums. One would be dedicated more to the statistical side properly said, with emphasis on analytical techniques. A second would be more directly linked with SAS itself, and the third would be a kind of code library, where we could contribute code, not directly linked to either of the earlier sections. As I see it, publication of code in the third forum would be an automatic copyright protection, in the public domain, or something like that.
