Hi,
We were discussing using the geographies tag for jobs rather than adding the state to the subject line. However, many people forget to do this.
Can we have a robot do this?

Probably not (i.e., even if we could have a robot update a page, how could it know what Geography to add). This is something that users will hopefully learn to do. And for those users who don't do it, the hope/expectation is that we will have a number of users who take some responsibility for gardening and add those tags.

Hi,
I will do Gardening of the Jobs off and on.
What is the convention for adding geographic information to the end of a subject?

my opinion is to only add the geography category (tag), not as part of the name of the article (page)

Hi,
I think adding a Geography tag is a good idea and will start doing that on an infrequent basis if there is no further discussion.

Hi,
I added a geography to one job and it came in as a subcategory. How about Jobs as a subcategory under each state in the US (I'll do this if someone else does other countries.)

Why would you prefer not to have the location as part of the title? It seems to me that it is one of the key criteria for interest in a job.
I have no interest in US vacancies, and largely ignore the page because I assume that is all I will find, but I would have thought that a Californian would like to know what else is emerging on the Pacific coast if he didn't want to to turn his coat collar up against the Atlantic, or the Lake Superior breezes.
If categorisation is to be used, then perhaps a large link should exist on the opportunities page to refer to the geographies link to this content. At present all I find off geographies is user groups.
I'd also like to see the same editing bar on this page that I find on the major articles.
