Imediate Need for a Statistical Analyst in Short Hills, NJ!!!

Statistical Analyst Short Hills, NJ Bring your statistical, analytical and programming capabilities to this financial services’ global analytics group. You will have full data-handling responsibilities to include data extraction, manipulation and analysis working with very large data sets. Extensive univariate analysis and trends correlation work in a deadline oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

- Data management / programming to include merging, aggregating, restructuring and reformulation

- Ad hoc univariate analysis resulting in sound data interpretation

- Presenting findings in a professional format for presentation to external clients

- Working with existing and/or developing new statistical models

- Miscellaneous ad hoc reporting and research projects as needed

Requirements:

- 2 years practical work experience

- Masters in Quantitative discipline or less experience with PhD

- Solid SAS skills to include: Base, Macros and STAT

- Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint

- Ability to work independently and thoroughly under deadlines

- Good communication skills to support both internal and external clients
