The SAS programming language provides an excellent vehicle to create data analytic techniques.
SAS enables the user to have complete control over data manipulations and does not confine the analyst into sets of canned routines.
SAS offers many modules that can be used to perform a vast array of sophisticated statistical models.
The approaches presented here rely only upon the Base SAS module, illustrating its programming power.
