In both of these examples, I removed the "options obs=100" statement because I feel that it potentially very dangerous. If a user submits the code as is, then its very possible that he/she would not reset the OBS= option to MAX afterwards. Then if a step that creates a dataset is run it would be limited to the 100 obs. Since the SASHELP.AIR used in the example has only 144 observations as it is, it seems like it's something that's not that helpful in this particular instance anyway. There are other ways to do this if needed, but they're secondary issues compared to what the code is trying to illustrate IMHO.
