not sure I understand why you get different results if you search for OPEN SOURCE than open source.

The search returns links which are to the RSS feeds which is probably not the desired result.

I like the new search! If you could add the logo and main menu, it would really be snazzy! --CJ 15:58, 3 June 2008 (EDT)
Lately I've noticed that the Google appliance search on sC is very, very slow.--Howles 12:42, 21 July 2008 (EDT)
Once you enter the subsite search.sascommunity.org, navigation is very limited. It's hard to get back to the wiki. Can the usual menus be offered on the left side of the screen? At the very least, the sC logo at the upper left should take you back to the wiki, not to a clean search screen. A New Search button could appear alongside the logo.--Howles 12:42, 21 July 2008 (EDT)
The deep search performed by the Google appliance (eg, including PDF uploads) is not always what one wants. I sometimes do searches just to see what articles have been created (or not) in the wiki, and I'd rather not see hits from somebody's conference paper PDF. I guess what I'm suggesting is an advanced search screen.--Howles 12:42, 21 July 2008 (EDT)
