sasCommunity Tip of the Day

SAS provides sample program libraries for many of the SAS sub-products (SAS/Access, SAS/Connect, SAS/Graph, etc.) that you license. The sample program libraries contain a dozen or so SAS programs that exploit the particular product they are associated with. You can use them as a jumping-off point for writing your own SAS programs using SAS/Access, SAS/Connect, SAS/Graph, etc. Or, you can simply browse them to get new ideas.

You can find these programs in a sub-directory named "sample" under the directory structure for each product. For example, on Windows, the SAS/Access sample program library can be found here:

!sasroot\products\sasinstall__9220__win__en__sp0__1\sas\access\sample
