sasCommunity Tip of the Day

Some projects require the calculation of distance between cities on the maps using just latitudes and longitudes. There are several ways to calculate the distance manually in SAS. The Haversine and Great circle formula are widely used and SAS provides a easy help note in the link below. See the see also link for sample code using Google Maps.
