As the first step in the decommissioning of sasCommunity.org the site has been converted to read-only mode.

Here are some tips for How to share your SAS knowledge with your professional network.

Tips:Top level directory in web-based STP list

From sasCommunity
Jump to: navigation, search

We were asked to customize the view of Stored Processes as listed in the SASStoredProcess web app navigation screen. By default, this lists all the stored processes that the user has access to (in folders) as defined in Metadata. We wanted the navigation to be limited to one subfolder. Alternatively, we considered building a web page that would list the particular folder of STPs in metadata.

Conveniently, SAS has provided a way to do this (see the link below to SAS Note 37997). So using this Note I can just point the browser to my desired STP folder in metadata (RA -> App -> STP -> Unscheduled) like this:

http://my.sas.midtier.server.com:9080/SASStoredProcess/do?_action=index&_path=/RA/App/STP/Unscheduled
