Tips Talk:Color/syntax highlight code within macro function

Tip OK. I generally like to see the macro code highlighted within a macro, but i can see how this could be helpful when trying to debug the non-macro code. Interesting that the dummy macro must be named on the %MEND statement to make this work. --Art Carpenter (talk) 18:13, 5 August 2016 (CDT)

I've also found that in EG, if you double-click on "macro" in the macro function declaration, or just highlight it, the code inside will be syntax highlighted until you deselect/click elsewhere. You can also scroll to see syntax highlighting in other macros this way. = paulkaefer (talk) 09:43, 30 March 2017 (CDT)

I did not know that. --Art Carpenter (talk) 19:53, 17 May 2017 (CDT)
