Tips Talk:Legend for Proc Univariate Using Annotate

I'd rate this as a good tip if it included the other settings needed to insure that the legend is properly shown. On my system, some of the legend's text appears off the screen.--Art T 18:18, 3 June 2012 (EDT)

Off the screen when you execute the code? Do you have SAS/GRAPH on your system? If not the font GREEK might not be available. Tipster might want to add that ANNOTATE is ignored when ODS GRAPHICS is on (the default for 9.3).--Art Carpenter 01:31, 10 June 2012 (EDT)

Interesting to me that this TIP has been viewed over 1,000 times for TALK, and 2,000 for the article. — Charlie Shipp (talk) 15:31, 29 March 2014 (CDT)

Not a lot of TIPs include graphical output. Is the graphic too large, or would it be better if it were smaller and on the right? — Charlie Shipp (talk) 20:20, 14 April 2014 (CDT)

Good tip --Art Carpenter (talk) 01:34, 19 April 2014 (CDT)

What happened to the large graphic? Now there is no graphic. I thought it was good, but could be on the right, smaller. -- Charlie Shipp (talk) 10:26, 21 April 2014 (CDT)

Good tip. I added a scaled version of the graph back. And WRT the missing legend, I just ran this code in 9.2, 9.3 and 9.4. The legend was there in 9.3 and 9.4, but not 9.2. Perhaps the issue is that the default ods destination in 9.3 and 9.4 is html, not listing. So perhaps there either needs to be a note about this, or perhaps Art can suggest the ods html statements needed to make it work in 9.2. --Don Henderson (talk) 19:14, 22 April 2014 (CDT)

Still looks good to me; but the field of SAS Visual Analytics is moving so fast, is this still the best approach? -- Charlie Shipp (talk) 00:57, 2 May 2015 (CDT)

Perhaps this is ready to be promoted. -- Charlie Shipp (talk) 22:35, 7 June 2015 (CDT)
