USAA is currently seeking a talented Senior Marketing Analyst for our San Antonio, TX location.
As a Senior Marketing Analyst for USAA, you will be responsible for a major reporting function within marketing and possess a broad knowledge of principles which are used to complete difficult assignments. The individual may be involved with a major marketing deliverable or project. You will work closely with marketing directors to develop and execute high impact market plans. You will apply advanced skills to solve issues that are non-routine and complex, as well as to develop new tools and methodology to be used by other marketing analysts. You may also provide training for new processes and tools. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring a high level of originality and ingenuity. You may be assisted by entry and intermediate level analysts.
In this particular Analyst position, your focus will be on advancing modeling capabilities that support USAA’s mail, internet and telephone channels and will require in-depth knowledge of response modeling and variable selection and transformation techniques.
Qualified candidates need to possess:
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of response modeling and variable selection and transformation techniques.
• 3+ years of business analysis experience.
• Excellent communication skills, including experience communicating with senior management.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to work overtime on short notice.
• SAS knowledge
Preferred experience includes:
• Ph.D. or M.Sc. and advanced statistical experience
