Lex Jansen started using SAS in 1992. Currently he is a Senior Consultant, Clinical Data Strategies at Octagon Research Solutions, Inc. In this position Lex works on client consulting projects dealing with the assessment, design and/or implementation of CDISC data standards.

Lex has presented several papers at SAS usergroup conferences:

• Creating PDF documents including hyper-links, bookmarks and a Table of Contents with the SAS® software (winning paper at SeUGI 2000 and PharmaSUG 2001)

• Using the SAS® XML Mapper and ODS to create a PDF representation of the define.xml (winning paper at PhUSE 2008)

On his website www.lexjansen.com SAS users can search over 9000 SAS presentations that were presented at NESUG, PharmaSUG, PhUSE,SAS Global Forum (former SUGI) and other SAS conferences. Also, CDISC related SAS proceedings can be viewed.
