My name is Lida Gharibvand. I am a Ph.D. student[1] in Applied Statistics at University of California – Riverside (UCR), USA [2]. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics. I have used SAS for three years and am familiar with SAS Base, SAS Graphics, and SAS Stat. My research and publications are focused on survival analysis, regression analysis, time series analysis, ANOVA, and longitudinal data analysis.

I was elected as a SAS Student Ambassador[3] and presented my paper [4] “Advanced Statistical and Graphical features of SAS® PHREG”] at SAS® Global Forum 2008. Also, I received a scholarship [5] to attend WUSS 2007 conference Western Users of SAS Software and presented the paper [6] “Survival Analysis Plots Using SAS ® ODS Graphics”].

I received a scholarship [7] to attend WUSS 2008 conference Western Users of SAS Software in Universal City, CA and presented three papers:
